Joan F (Theakston) Adametz

Joan F. Adametz, 82 of Ravenna, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Altercare of Brimfield. Joan was born on March 27, 1939 in Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania to the late Norman and Mildred (Fulton) Theakston. She had worked as cashier at the Kmart in Kent. In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her siblings Raymond Theakston, Betty Engel and Lillian Orum, and her step-son Charles Adametz. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Adametz, Jr., whom she married on May 5, 1979, her children Connie Hall, Robert Matthews and Karen Anderson, her step-son Drew Adametz, her sisters Mary Lynn, Rose McCoy and Judy Coyle, grandchildren Missy White, Andrew Adametz IV, Joey Adametz and many other grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:30AM with burial to follow at the Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
