Joanne Burns
, 79, of Streetsboro, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 in
her home. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Alliance to the late, Herbert and
Esther (Zyrd) Hoover. Joanne lived in
Streetsboro
since 1980 and had a passion
for gardening. She loved flowers and making crafts, and was a great cook. Joanne
is survived by her daughter, Susan (David) Garcher of Streetsboro; son, David
(Donna) Burns of Mason; four grandchildren, Christopher, Chadwick, Steven, and
Lauren; sisters, Rosemary (Dick) Wolfgang, Marlene Monroe, Carolyn (Morris)
Mercer, Audrey (Melvin) Leech, and Kathlene Hoover; brothers, Jerry (Angie)
Hoover and Jake Hoover; sister-in-law,
Ester
Hoover; and lots of
nieces and
nephews
. In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her
husband, John R. Burns; sister, Linda Hoover; and brothers, Jim, Duane, Kenneth,
and Dick Hoover. Calling Hours will be held
on Monday from 2-4 PM
&
6 PM
until
the
7:45 PM
