Joanne M. (Campbell) Duncan

Joanne M. Duncan, 83 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday May 17, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 31, 1932 to the late WM. James and Clara Ethel (McCune) Campbell. Mrs. Duncan has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from the Portage County Juvenile System where she worked as a secretary. She loved her family especially being a Grandma. Survivors include her love of her life Thomas A. Duncan, Sr. whom she married February 12, 1951, her daughter Deanna (Dennis) Kobel of Oscoda, Michigan, her grandchildren Rachel Ann Duncan, Jamie Lynn Duncan, Jeff Asbury, Daniel Asbury, seven great grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Thomas A. Duncan, Jr. in 1980, one brother and one sister. Calling hours will be Thursday May 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Pastor Gayla Metzendorf officiating.
