John S Faddis

John S. Faddis, 82 of Streetsboro, OH passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020.  He was born May 26, 1937 in Rices Landing, PA, a son of the late George “Mac” and Estella Kurtyka Faddis.  Mr. Faddis had lived in Streetsboro since 1965.  He was a member of the Streetsboro United Methodist Church serving as a Trustee for several years.  He was retired from the Ford Motor Company Walton Hills Stamping Plant after 31 years of service.  He was a former member of the Ravenna Moose and enjoyed gardening, lawn care and woodworking.  On January 3, 1959, he married Janet Phillips who survives.  Also surviving is a daughter, Sharron Weingart; four grandchildren, John Weingart (Lisa), Daniel Weingart, Jennifer Wall (John) and Alexandria Chilson (Michael); great grand sons Logan and Wade Chilson and Ryder Weingart; daughter-in-law Tina Faddis, two sisters Elizabeth Goslin and Linda Smith (Harry); one brother Richard Faddis (Joyce); and sisters-in-law Barbara Faddis and Patricia Faddis; several nieces and nephews.  Deceased in addition to his parents is a son John P. Faddis; son-in-law Eric Weingart, brothers George M. and Henry Clay Faddis; sister Imogene “Jean” Hritz; two nephews Rodney Faddis and Harry Smith III and a niece Jody Lynn Faddis.  In honoring his request, cremation has taken place.  Memorial services may be held at a later date.
