John J. Jones Iii

John J. Jones, III 48 of Kent passed away Monday February 16, 2015 at Akron City Hospital .  He was born April 6, 1966 in Ravenna too the late John and Lillian (Nation) Jones, Jr.   Mr. Jones has lived in Kent the past six years and was formerly  a lifelong Ravenna resident.  He had worked for Taverns Container in Bedford as a machine operator and was a member of the Winfield Church of God in Christ in Ravenna, Ohio.  He enjoyed singing in the church choir , watching movies and spending time with his family.    Survivors include  his wife Margaret J. (Bush) Jones whom he married November 23, 1996, his children  Jeremiah Jones, Isaih (Keyana) Bush, Joshua Bush, Autouri Bush, his grandson Zyair Bush, his siblings Robert (Lutricia) Nation, David (Victoria ) Williamson and Yolanda Jones.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Melvin Nation.  Calling hours will be Monday February 23, 2015 from 12 Noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Winfield Church of God in Christ in Ravenna, Ohio.  Burial will follow the services at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Funeral service entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Condolences and memories  of John may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
