John W. Matta

John W. Matta 62 of Brimfield passed away Tuesday October 6, 2015 at Summa Rehab Hospital in Akron.  He was born April 1, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Steve and Wanda (Lawson) Matta.  Survivors include his wife Diana (McCutcheon) Matta, his children Tammy Matta, Joseph (Shannon) Matta, Thomas Matta, four grandchildren and his siblings  Christine Johnson, Steve, George, Mike, Andrew and Timothy Matta.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Barbara Powell and Patricia Matta.  There will be no callling hours, private family services will be held.  The family requests  that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family care of Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes 141 N. Meridian St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
