John E. Porco

John E. Porco 47 of Kent formerly of Shalersville passed away Sunday April 18, 2010 at the Kent Healthcare Center.  He was born May 6, 1962 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late John and Lois (Kelly) Porco.  John enjoyed Camping, Bowling and playing the W ii and had worked at Portage Industries.  Survivors include his brother Jeff of Twinsburg, sister Kim (Syl) Swango of Kent and nephews Matthew, Jeffrey, Nick and Kevin.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Kevin.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Wednesday April 21, 2010 and from 10:00 AM Until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday April 22, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel with Fr. James Lang Officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery Mantua, Ohio.  The family requests memorials to Harbor Light Hospice 25 S.
