John A. Scartz

John A. Scartz 69 of Bainbridge Township died Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born April 22, 1949 in Fairmont, WV to the late Harold and Minnie (Subetto) Scartz. John was a US Army veteran, member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora and the Aurora Knight of Columbus. He had been a landman for Clinton Oil and Gas, former Realtor and owner of a C21 Real Estate Franchise and a Mortgage Banker. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Diane (Manson), children Lynne (Bryan) Davis of Columbus, OH, Julie Scartz of Westerville, OH, Michael Scartz of Columbia, SC and Tony Scartz of Columbus, OH, siblings T.J. (Jack) Ludwig of Westerville, OH and Jim (Debbie) Scartz of Naples, FL and he was a grandfather and great grandfather. Calling hours will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, July 6, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora with Father James Daprile officiating. (FRIENDS PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) Burial will follow in Aurora City Cemetery.
