John Ferrando Sr.

John Ferrando, 75 of Hartville passed away at his home Saturday, October 13, 2012. He was born July 29, 1937 in Ashtabula, OH to the late Sam and Lucia (Rocco) Ferrando. He served with the US Army during the Korean War. Retired from Chrysler after 31 years. Survivors include his loving wife Wilda "Tink" (Vance) Ferrando, daughter, Kimberly (Jim) Tekavec, sons, John (Lisa) Ferrando, Jimmy Ferrando, grandchildren, Mark (Jen) Skonieczny, Julia, Nicholas, Rachael, Matthew, Maria, Abbey, sisters, Carmella Rung, Linda Dennis, Kathy Deitz, brothers, Junior Sams, Chuck Sams. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Holden. Memorial Calling Hours will be held at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, OH 44241, from 2 - 4 PM Thursday, October 18,2012 where a Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Saybrook, Ohio on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers family asks donation to be made to the Crossroads Hospice or Alzheimer's Assoc.
