John Michael Szumski

John M. "Jack" Szumski, 58, of Eastlake passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011a t Mary Mount Hospital with his family by his side. He was born August 9, 1952 in Cleveland a son of Edward and Rose (Skocic) Szumski. John served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid reader. He also enjoyed cooking. John is survived by his son, John David Szumski of Eastlake; mother, Rose Szumski of Streetsboro; sisters, Donna (Terry) Carl of Barberton, Denise (Doug) Whitten of Lady Lake, Florida, and Diane (Kip) Latshaw of Streetsboro; brothers, Edward (Bonnie) Szumski of San Bernardino, California, Stephen (Barbara) Szumski of Stow, and George Szumski of Streetsboro; and mother of John David, Ann Marie Plymak. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4PM until the 7 PM service at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel.
