John D. Wilson

John D. Wilson 85 of Ravenna passed away peacefully Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Woodlands at Robinson with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born December 8, 1928 in Pitcarin, PA to John and Margaret (Diaz) Wilson. Mr. Wilson moved to Ohio in 1955 and worked at Ford Motor Company as a crane operator until his retirement in 1985. Survivors include his wife of 19 years Shirley (Pittman) Postlethwait-Wilson, daughter Kimberly Wilson of Akron, son Donald D. (Brenda) Wilson of Hollywood, FL, siblings Marilyn, Wayne, Sue and Cheryl and best friends James and Lena White. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Muriel and sisters Lois and Norma Jean. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Service have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel
