Jon E. Davis, 55 of Ravenna, died Monday July 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 8, 1959 in Cuyahoga Falls to Richard L. Davis Sr. and Nancy (Wilcox) Davis. Jon lived most of his life in Streetsboro and was a member of the Ravenna Moose and Streetsboro Eagles.
Jon was preceded in death by his father Richard L. Davis Sr., brother Richard L. Davis Jr., and grandparents Ruth and Clarence Wilcox, and Helen Wright. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Davis of Streetsboro, son Robert E. Parsons or Zanesville, Sister Betty Wells of Streetsboro, Brother Charles Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, nieces and nephews; Robert Wells, Carla Wells, Mike Wells, Brayden Davis, Makala Davis, and Rikki Davis.
A combined memorial service for Jon and his brother Richard L. Davis Jr., who died on July 24, 2015, will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 4:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Streetsboro with Pastor Robert York officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
