Joseph A Monda

Joseph A. Monda, 77 of Shalersville passed away Thursday June 9, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.  On February 3, 1945 he was born in Ashtabula, Ohio to the late Joseph F. and Josephine (Annik) Monda.  Joe was a retired truck driver last working for Copper and Brass Sales out of Cleveland.  He was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro and attended Grace Cathedral in Akron.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Monda in 1992, his son Joseph L. Monda on Aug. 24, 2017 and his brother Richard.  He is survived by his children Debbie (Scott) Tayerle, Mike (Christina) Monda, his grandchildren Michael II, Samantha Monda, Michelle Horvath,  Jessica Sparks-Tayerle Scotty (Kayla) Tayerle, five great grandchildren and sister Patricia Trent.  Calling hours will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday June 14, 2022 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday June 15, 2022.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Joe may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
