Joseph Z Bregant

Joseph Z. Bregant, 73 of Ravenna, passed away Saturday May 9, 2020 at the Hospice Care Center in Akron, Ohio.  On October 17, 1946 he was born to the late Zane Bregant and Katherine (Ross) Barringer.  Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, Joe had retired from Allen Aircraft where he worked as a Engineer and draftsman.  He was a veteran of the US National Guard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Billy and Michael Bregant.  Survivors include his children Jennifer (Tony) Catanese , Bill (Missy) Bregant both of Ravenna, his grandchildren Nick Shellhorn, Kendall Feldman, Carter Bregant,  Myla Bregant, Tripp Bregant, his siblings Sheila Snyder, Mark (Barbara) Bregant, Zane (Kim) Bregant, former wife and mother of his children Bernadine Rock and special friend June Kappas.  At the family's request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service may be held at a later date.   Memories and condolences of Joe may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
