Joseph Riley Bruno, Ii

Joseph R. Bruno II, 49, of Greenwood, passed away on June 19, 2021.  He was born on November 30, 1971 in Akron, Ohio  to Joseph R. Bruno I and Lynne (Fry) Bruno. Joe was raised Jehovah’s Witness, when he was younger, he attended Craigwood congregation in Indianapolis. He was a 1990 graduate of Perry Meridian High School, and also studied marketing at Central Nine Vocational School.  While attending school, Joe worked at LS Ayres. He enjoyed sports, fitness and worked as a personal fitness trainer.   Joe is survived by his parents, Lynne (Fry) and Joseph R. Bruno I; brothers, Dominick Bruno, and Frank (Sommer) Bruno; and sister, Dianna (Barry) Jarvis. He is also survived by Richard Bruno-Waganer II, Sabrina Bruno-West; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dominick and Theda Bruno, and Mary Jane Pryor and Harold Fry. Calling hours will be Friday July 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Joe will be laid to rest at 11 AM on Friday July 2, 2021 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna, Ohio.  For information on a memorial service via zoom, please contact Joe's mom.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com or www.sscfuneralhomes.com
