Joseph "Joey" Charles Mcatee

Joseph "Joey" Charles McAtee 11 of Windham, formerly of Deerfield, passed away on April 19, 2022. He was born August 30, 2010 in Akron, Ohio to Hersel and Tina (Bowland) McAtee. Joey was a fifth grade student at Southeast Local Schools. Survivors include his father Hersel McAtee, mother Tina McAtee, grandmothers Ruth Bowland and Anna Blankenship and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Michael Bowland and Dahn Blankenship. Calling hours will be from 5 pm until time of closing remarks by Robert Dunn at 7 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. The family request everyone wear Southeast Pirate gear in honor of Joey's love for his school. Cremation will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the family in C/O Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266. The family would like to thank Sports Express for supplying the outfit for Joey to wear.
