Joseph P Golgosky, Jr.

Joseph P. Golgosky, Jr., 73 of Ravenna, passed away Friday November 4, 2016 at his home.  He was born May 20, 1943 in Bakerton, PA to the late Joseph and Catherine (Lamont) Golgosky, Sr.  Mr. Golgosky has lived in Ravenna the past 54 years and had retired as a warehouse manager for international Paper (Union Camp) in Solon.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna and enjoyed doing woodworking, watching birds and playing golf.  Survivors include his wife Jane (Lieb) Golgosky whom he married in 1961, his children Michael (Sonia) Golgosky of Wooster, Joseph P. (Jill) Golgosky III of Garrettsville, Pamela Cassidy of Ravenna, Mary (Adam) George of Brimfield, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren , siblings William Golgosky, Dennis Golgosky, Patty Kotrick and Joan Garro.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Tuesday November 8, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 9, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna with Father William Kraynak officiating.  Private family  inurnment will be at a later date at St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Joseph may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
