Joseph L Monda

Joseph L. Monda, 55 of Streetsboro passed  away Thursday August 24, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born march 30, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph A. and Barbara (Miller) Monda.  Mr. Monda has lived in Streetsboro since 2013 and was formerly of Mantua/Shalersville area.  He was a coreroom supervisor for Thompsons Aluminum in Cuyahoga Hts. and was a member of the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Streetsboro.  Joe enjoyed the outdoors, especially boating, fishing and riding  motorcycles.  He also enjoyed doing body work on cars with his 1974 Dodge Charge being his favorite.  Joe was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Monda.  Survivors include his wife Teresa (Bennett) Monda whom he married December 24, 2009, his father Joseph A. Monda of Shalersville, his  step daughter Jacquelyn Bennett, his granddaughter Jaelyn Bennett, siblings Debbie Tayerle of Shalersville, Michael Monda of Aurora, his special cousins Scott Moter and Marian Meade as well as several other cousins, nieces and nephews.   Calling hours will be Tuesday August 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 Pm at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral homes Streetsboro Chapel, where funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday August 30, 2017 with Pastor Darrell Libengood officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville,  Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Joe may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
