Joseph D. Sharkey, Jr.

Joseph D. Sharkey, Jr. 66 of Hudson passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at his home. He was born January 17, 1959 in Akron, Ohio to Joseph D. and Virginia T. (Strohecker) Sharkey. Joe was a member of St. Mary's Church in Hudson where he was active in the Men's Club. He worked as an insurance risk manager for many years before he retired. Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rosanne (Routhier), daughter Aislinn (Johnathan) Hartong, grandson Gordon Hartong, his mother Tanie White, and sister Tanie Griffin and her family. Joe was a diehard New York Yankees fan and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at 11 AM on Friday, June 20, 2025.
