Joseph M. Toffoli

Joseph M. Toffoli,  age 90 of Streetsboro, Ohio passed away Monday September 21, 2020 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Twinsburg.  On December 20, 1929, Mr. Toffoli was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Nellie (Poletti) Toffoli.  He has lived in Streetsboro since 2011 and was formerly of Michigan where he retired from the John Toffoli and Son Cement Contractors.  He was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Church  in Streetsboro, the Streetsboro  American Legion  and was a former  Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.  Mr. Toffoli was a US Army veteran serving his country in the Korean War.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by the love of his life Mary Toffoli on November 18, 2019 after 68 years of marriage and his brother Louis Mattivi.  Survivors include his children Linda (George ) Buzzy, Alan J. (Karen) Toffoli, Gary (Denise) Toffoli, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and his sister Laura McNally.  Calling hours will be Wednesday September 23, 2020 from 5 PM until time of Rosary services at 6:00 PM at the Short Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.  Private family Mass of Christian Burial services will be at St. Joan of Arc Church Streetsboro, Ohio.  Burial will follow at the  Aurora City Cemetery Aurora, Ohio. (Masks are required ) Donations can be made to The Hospice of the Western Reserve or St. Joan of Arc Church.
