Joyce A. (Fultz) Sossa

Joyce Avonel Sossa passed away at home with her children by her side on Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born March 7, 1931 in Carter, Kentucky to the late Lytle and Dora (Parker) Fultz.  Joyce worked at Green Ball Bearing in Cleveland where she met her husband Rudy. They were married for 47 years before his passing in 1998. Joyce was also the manager of Ben Franklin in Streetsboro during the 1970's. In her later years she also worked at Malley's Chocolates in Aurora where she made many special friends, and was known as "The Fudge Lady". Joyce loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed quilting, baking, watching her Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns play and the occasional trip to the casino. Her flower gardens and roses were her masterpieces.  She is preceded in death by her Parents: Lytle and Dora (Parker) Fultz, Husband: Rudy Sossa, Brother: Wayne Fultz, Sisters: Norma McCloud, Jannis Fleming, and Kathleen Delong, Grandson: Jason Dengg. Joyce is survived by her  Sister: Shirley (Jerry) Pobuda, Children: Vicky (John) Hayduke of Edinburg, Michael (Jean) Sossa of Streetsboro, David (Debbie) Sossa of Kent, Wayne Sossa of Streetsboro, Joyce (Kreg) KrebsFredericksburg, OH, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Heaven now has another truly wonderful angel.  The family would like to Thank Summa in Home Hospice for all their care and support.  Calling hours will be held from 2:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Rd, Streetsboro, OH, The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Funeral home with Rev. Ken Warren officiating.  Burial will follow the service in All Saint Cemetery in Northfield, OH.
