Joyce A. (Hargreaves) Hesse

Joyce A. Hesse 77 of Streetsboro died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. She was born September 2, 1935 in Holly, CO to the late James Joseph and Ruth L. (Alexander) Hargreaves.  After graduation from Holly High School she married William H. Hesse at Raton, NM in 1953. Ms. Hesse loved her family and enjoyed family get togethers. She loved traveling with her husband in their motor home. She travelled to all 50 states, every Canadian Province & Territory, through out Mexico and Baja. She also toured New Zealand and Australia.  She was a member of Stow Presbyterian Church, was an associate of Atlas Steel Products Co of Twinsburg for 18 years in Sales Service. Joyce is survived by William H. Hesse of Streetsboro, daughters Denise (Ralph) Appleby of Kent, Jennifer Sue Szyska of Streetsboro, son, William H. Hesse II of Streetsboro, grandchildren Sam (Sarah) Appleby of Akron, Dan Appleby of Kent, Alex Appleby of Ravenna, Bill M. (Allison) Hesse, of Streetsboro, Sarah Szyska of Streetsboro, and her brother, James Joseph Hargreaves of Sydney, NE. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Hargreaves.  Memorial Calling hours will be held from 5 - 8 PM Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Funeral Home with Pastor David Weyrick and Pastor Wally Kukuk officiating.  Burial will follow the service in Aurora City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Ravenna Corp. 268 W. Main Street Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
