Judith Ann (Benach) Shaffer

Judith Ann (Benach) Shaffer, 68 of Streetsboro passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Woodlands at Robinson. She was born February 27, 1946 in Canton to the late George and Helen (Stefanko) Benach.  Judy was the manager for the Bakery in Giant Eagle till she retired. She attended  Streetsboro Church of Christ, and was a member of  the Rubber City Model A Club. Her family will sure miss her peanut butter cookies and her gliding around the dance floor with her husband dancing to Jazz or polka music.  Judy is survived by her sister, Norma J. Fox, brother, Ronald Benach both of Canton, 6 nieces and 2 nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles C. Shaffer who died September 6, 2014. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the funeral home with Ralph Price officiating. Burial will follow the service in Evergreen Cemetery  Streetsboro, Ohio.
