Judith (Sorboro) Johns

Judith Johns 93 of Ravenna passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Woodland at Robinson. She was born October 26, 1919 in Ravenna to the late Dominick and Carmella (Farina) Sorboro. She worked in the shipping department for Colonial Rubber till she retired. Judith was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, and when she was younger she helped raise her 9 siblings. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbur Carlton Johns "Wib" whom died November 24, 2011, She will be missed by her sisters, Marietta (George) Jobe of Randolph, Elizabeth (Edward) James of Ravenna, brothers, James (Betty) Sorboro of Cuyahoga Falls, Lou (Nancy) Sorboro of Marco Island, FL, Bill  Sorboro of Ravenna, sister-in-law, Marcene Sorboro of Ravenna.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded by  brothers, Pete Carl, Joe, Anglo Sorboro, her sister-in-laws, Rosie, Julie, and Dolly Sorboro. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September  8, 2013 where family and friends may call two hours prior to the service, at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Father William Kraynak will be officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park at a later date.
