Judith Ann (Morrow) Richards

Judith A. "Judy" Richards 68 of Ravenna died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation . She was born October 20, 1942 in Canton, Ohio to the late David Wilson and Irma Katherine (Balser) Morrow. Judy retired from
Southeast Local Schools in 1998 where she was a kindergarten teacher. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna, where she was active in the Lydia Group, WPG ( Friday Night Women’s Group) and was instrumental in starting the church library. She was a member of the Phi Mu Fraternity and active with Thursday Literary Club having served on the executive committee and most recently appointed Parliamentarian. Survivors include her son Greg Richards of Shelby Township, MI, daughter Traci (Stephen M. Schuster) Richards of Ashburn, VA , brothers Robert Daniel (Susan) Morrow and William Ray Morrow both of Canton, sister in laws Sara (Ronald) Richards Kurtz and Jane Richards King both of Ravenna and several nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard F. in 1998 and a brother David Wilson Morrow in 2010. Calling hours will be from 5 – 8 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna with Reverend Scott Purdum officiating.
