Judith M (Simcox) Space

Judith M. Space 54 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday November 25, 2014 at the Select Specialty Care Hospital in Akron, Ohio.  She was born  May 12, 1960 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Franklin and Melva (Butler) Simcox.  Ms. Space has lived in Ravenna since 1996 and was formerly of Windham, Ohio.  She  had worked for Kraftmaid in Middlefield and enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren.  Judy loved time of togetherness with friends and family, but also bragged about her sons, and granddaughters to anyone that would listen.  Survivors include her children Carl (Kristin) Space of New Albany, Kevin (Kyla Richmond) Space of Ravenna, her grandchildren Ava, Gracie and Aerreona.  Also surviving are her siblings Frank Simcox, Jr. of Austintown, Laura (Espy) Hedge and Paula (Adrien "Timothy") Daniel both of Garrettsville and her mother in law Mary Jane Space of Ravenna.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her sisters Rose Mary Simcox and Tammy Patchin, and her grandson Franklin Ray Space.  Calling hours will be Friday November 28, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be held 11:00 Am Saturday November 29, 2014 with Pastor Richard Hose officiating.  Burial will follow in Windham Township Cemetery Windham, Ohio.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at http://www.sscfuneralhomes.com/.
