Judy L. (Boston) Svoboda

Judy L. Svoboda 73 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1950 in Akron, Ohio to the late Frank E. and Lucille R. (Smith) Boston. Judy worked as an LPN for Outlook Pointe, Robinson Memorial Hospital and the Gardens of the Western Reserve. Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that always went above and beyond for her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Richard, daughters Sherri Svoboda and Brandi (Scott Gardner) Svoboda, grandchildren Matthew Svoboda, Lauren (Noelle Woodall) Svoboda, Madison Gardner, Kylee Gardner, and Justin Gardner, great grandson Caleb Svoboda and siblings Frank (June) Boston and Pat (Robert) Lutzenkirchen. Judy is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Richard Boston. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be from 4 PM  to 6 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 70 West Streetsboro Street, Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236 or the Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 2606 Brady Lake Road, Ravenna, OH 44266.
