Judy Gibson 69 of Lake Milton and formerly of Rootstown passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at home with her family by her side following a long battle with cancer. She was born March 30, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Ermit and Helen (Lengyel) Giudici. Judy retired as the Vice President for Conlift, Inc. and was a member of St. Peter of the Fields Church in Rootstown. Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family and grandchildren, especially family vacations. She enjoyed playing cards and singing in the church choir. Survivors include her son Rob (Judy) Gibson and children Parker and Megan; her daughter Deanne (Kevin) Cunningham and children Sarah, Donnie, Mariah and Cory. Judy is also survived by her siblings Allen (Lisa) Giudici, Linda Crim and Sue (Buford) Morris. Calling hours will be held at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Thursday, June 11, 2015. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at St. Peter of the Fields Church with Fr. David Misbrenner Officiating. At her request, cremation will take place with inurnment to follow at St. Peter of the Fields Church Cemetery.
