Julie C. "Candy" (Lavo) Stegh

Julie C. Stegh (Candy) 67, of Ravenna passed away Friday, May 31, 2024. She was born January 28, 1957 in Ravenna to John and Julia (Chastven) Lavo. Candy was an STNA that dedicated her life to taking care of others, working for hospice and home health agencies, as well as a love for all animals owning many pets throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Stegh and a brother John Lavo. Survivors include her children Jason Hillis, Jodi Hillis, Josh Hillis, Jenna Hillis, Christopher Stegh, Jesse Stegh and Taylor Stegh, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and siblings Joyce Adams, Connie Westfall, Jessie Pritchett, Janice Stoneking and Janine Tawney. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held at 3pm on June 23rd at Candy’s residence. Please contact Chris or Sierra for details.
