June N. (Goddard) Phillips

Loving mother and grandmother, June N. Phillips of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday February 8, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born June 11, 1937 in Twinsburg, Ohio to the late Charles and Edna (Batson) Goddard.  June has lived in Streetsboro since 2011 and was very active with animals, especially  Sheltie Rescue.  In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by  her husband Junior Phillips on December 9, 2009, her son Buddy Phillips in 2014 and siblings Charles Goddard and Edna Turman.   She is survived by her children Marilyn (Michael) Gilak, Ronald A. Phillips, Linda (Larry) Sedar, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and  her beloved companion Marley, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Private family services have been held at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio on Thursday Feb.13th 2020..  Condolences and memories of June may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
