June Baldwin (Meinke) Grudosky

June Baldwin Grudosky of Ravenna, formerly of Edinburgh, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna surrounded by her family. She was born June 16, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio to Richard and Lillian (Parker) Meinke. June was a graduate of Edinburg High School and Bohecker's Business College. She was a 77 year member of the Edinburg United Church of Christ and a long-time member of Palmy Chapter #114 Eastern Star. June started her business career at the Ravenna Arsenal, where she worked in the accounting department for five years. She then began her banking career at First National Bank & Trust Company and retired from Bank One (Chase Bank) as an officer after 30 years. She will always be remembered fondly by her many friends and family for her kind and gentle nature. "Momma June" is survived by step-children David (Susan) of Ravenna, Margaret of Kent, and Diana (Walter) Koroluk of St. Mary's, Georgia and granddaughter Jennifer (Jorge) Valdivia of Kapolei, Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Harry Baldwin in 1967 and her second husband Victor Grudosky in 1999. Calling hours will be from 11:00 AM to time of services at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Edinburg United Church of Christ, 4081 Rock Spring Road in Edinburg. Pastor Glen Shedlock will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. The family extends a sincere deep appreciation for all the caring individuals who cared for her at Brookside Assisted Living, Emeritus Senior Living and Longmeadow Care Center, and very special thanks to VNS Hospice staff for the special care she received.
