Justin D. Franko of Deerfield Ohio, beloved son of Kevin and Claudia (Butcher) Franko, died unexpectedly on his 37th birthday, April 1, 2023. He will be very sadly missed by his dear daughter Kyleigh Franko, who lives at home with her mother, Kelly Baird of Deerfield; his brother Christopher Franko of Deerfield; his niece Isabella Franko of Deerfield; his Grandfather, Andrew S. Franko Sr. Of Edinburg; and many Uncles, Aunts, cousins, and dear friends. Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary E. Franko (Schmera), and grandparents Nick and Alma (Krebs) Butcher. A 2004 graduate of Southeast High School, Justin was happily employed working as a machinist for the past five years at Sherex Fastening Solutions in Akron Ohio. Justin had a smile that would light up every room he entered. He loved his family, and was a devoted father, son, brother, nephew, and grandson. He especially enjoyed being a dad and spending time hanging out with his daughter Kyleigh. They had their heads together all the time, playing video games with his brother Chris and close friends. They had a blast doing Snapchat, going fishing for hours, and dressing up in full makeup and costumes for Halloween, anime, and Medieval faires. Justin was a self professed night owl and enjoyed the outdoors. One of his favorite things was to swap stories and share some beers over a blazing bonfire. Per Justin’s request, cremation will take place prior to services. He did not want a traditional funeral. Family and friends are invited to attend informal, comfortable calling hours on Friday April 7, 2023 from 5 pm till 7 pm at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel.
