Kandy Lee Young, 50 , of Streetsboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday October 20, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born In San Fernando Valley, California on September 17, 1966 to Ralph Chambers and Carolyn (Vickers) Bolyard. Kandy was a homemaker who enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, crocheting, fishing and gardening; especially her five flower gardens. She also prepared tax returns in her own home. Survivors include her husband Barry Young whom she married June 21, 2008, mother Carolyn and devoted step-father Mearle “Bud” Bolyard, her children Jennifer Jones, Becky (Brent) Sorensen, David Jones, four grandchildren and siblings Barbara (Darron) Anderson, John (Julie) Chambers, Mary Chandler, Dennis Chambers, Corina Whitlach, Kim (Tom) Carr, Dan (Shawna) Chambers, Stacy (Curt Scott) Bolyard, Jessika (Ron) Ferrell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Chambers. Calling hours will be 5pm until time of memorial services at 7 PM Friday October 28, 2016 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating.
