Karen Lynn Kotecki

Karen Lynn Kotecki 56 of Streetsboro, formerly of Cleveland, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at University Hospital in Beechwood. She was born April 30, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to Eugene L. and Anna E. (Augustine) Kotecki. Karen was a member of St. Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church in Maple Heights. Survivors include her father Eugene L. Kotecki of Ravenna, brother Michael (Carolyn) Kotecki of Streetsboro, nieces Alice Ann King, Jessica and Sarah Kotecki and Aaliyah Marie Baffone and nephew Damien Charles King. She was preceded in death by her mother Anna E. Kotecki. Calling hours will be from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 9781 Page Road in Streetsboro, Ohio with Parastas Service at 7 PM Friday. Funeral services will be at 9 AM Saturday at St. Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church, 16029 Maple Park Drive, Cleveland, OH 44137 with the Very Rev. Father Emilian Hutnyan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to St. Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church, 7940 Springledge, Sagamore Hills, Ohio 44067.
