Katherine E. Frantz 71 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born April 10, 1941 in Belpre, Ohio to the late Roy and Leora (Barringer) Coleman. She was a retired teachers aid for Ravenna Schools. Katherine was an avid reader, loved sewing and cooking, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters , Karen (Jim) Carrozzi of Ravenna, Kathryn (Dennis) Tunney of Fontana, CA, grandchildren, Katie Lee Tunney and James Jacob Carrozzi, sister, Betty Anderson of Sun City, AZ and a brother, Harold Coleman of Flagstaff, AZ. Besides her parents she was preceded by 1 sister and 1 brother. A Private Graveside service was held in Maple Grove Cemetery. Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
