Kenneth J Englert

Kenneth J. Englert, 81 of Garrettsville,  passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina.  He was born May 26, 1943 in Library, PA, to the late John A. and Mary (Lenard) Englert.  After he served in the US Navy, Kenneth came to Ohio and settled in Garrettsville with wife Carolyn Englert. Kenneth was a skilled electrician and worked for GE and electrical contractors until his retirement from JC Electric. He and Carolyn were faithful members of the Grace Episcopal Church congregation in Ravenna. Kenneth and his family loved the holiday's and special occasion gatherings as well as his time spent with many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Keith Englert, and grandson Terrence Butler. Survivors include brother David (Mary) Englert, children Jennifer Englert-Butler, Beki Englert-Amodio, and Thomas Englert, grandchildren Austin Amodio, Kinsey Amodio, Rachel (Ryan) Amodio-Blackford, Rose Englert, and Michael Englert. He leaves behind a great-grandson Haegan Blackford. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
