Kenneth Lewis Kinford

Kenneth L. Kinford, 90, of Aurora passed away Monday June 19, 2017.  He was born on March 16, 1927 to the late Earl and Eleanor (Rhodes) Kinford.  He served in the US Army from 1945 to 1946. He retired from Chase Bag Company at the age of 64 and loved working in his  yard and planting flowers.  He also had a dune buggy that he enjoyed riding around in.  You would also see him riding around on his bike with his dog in a basket.  He would stop and talk to everyone he seen.  He is survived by his loving children, son Kenneth A. (Debbie) of Aurora, daughter Janice (Steve) Haines of Streetsboro.  He was a loving grandfather (Poppy)  to April (Craig) Deitch, Paul (Louise) Kinford, Donnie (Laura) Haines and David Haines.  A loving "Great" grandfather to Jacob, Sam, Stella, Silas, Steven and Lia.  Also survived by his sister Arlene and brothers  Alvin and Leonard.  In addition  to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mary, his loving sons David, Roger and siblings Lois, Bernice and Clarence.   Calling hours will be Sunday June 25, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 Am Monday June 26, 2017.
