Kenneth D. Sapp

Kenneth "Don" Sapp 75 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday September 28, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn, Ohio.  He was born April 7, 1936 in Canonsburg, Pa. to the late John and Keturah (Campbell) Sapp.  Don has lived in Ravenna the since 1977 and retired from LTV Steel in Cleveland, where he worked as a shipper.  He was a member of  St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and enjoyed all sports, especially football ,watching his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He also love playing golf, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his granddaughters Zoie and Ava.  Survivors include his wife of 34 years Marie (Korfant) Sapp, his children, Dawn (Jeremy) Gilliam of Ravenna, Melvin Crawford of Ravenna, Joe Sapp, David Sapp, Dennis Sapp, Diane Sapp, Darlene Sapp, 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Calling hours will be 3-8 PM Friday September 30, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 1, 2011 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Fr. Pat Ferraro officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Donations can be made to the Debt Relief fund at St. Joan of Arc Church,  8894 State Route 14 Streetsboro, Ohio.
