Kimberly Ann Becton, 56, of Streetsboro, passed away at home Monday, February 12, 2024 after her third battle with cancer. Kimberly was born November 16, 1967, in Ravenna, Ohio, to William Williams and Pauline Girtz.
A devoted partner, mother, and grandmother, Kimberly was a very generous and creative person. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, planning unique gifts and events, and giving personalized gifts often. She was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, crafting, and other various art projects.
For the majority of her career, Kimberly was an assembly worker at GE where she was known for livening up the line by making people laugh with her pranks and wonderful sense of humor. Later in her career, as the Memory Care Director at Hudson Grande Senior Living, she dedicated much of her time and energy to her residents’ care while personally getting to know each and every one of them. She used her creativity to organize fun, engaging, and themed activities throughout the day.
Kimberly enjoyed camping, kayaking, and spending time at the cabin with her partner Dave and the two pups. When football season came, she would always cheer on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Kimberly is survived by her partner Dave Krumlauf; daughter, Amber (Matthew) Meduri; son, Cody (Amanda) Adelman; bonus children, Angie (Nick) Schuster, Emma (Scott) Finney, and Cody (Melanie) Krumlauf; brother, William (Annie) Girtz; mother, Pauline Girtz; additional close relatives, Sue (Clyde) Simmons, Dustin (Ashley) Simmons, Brandon Williams, and Madison Touart; and many grandchildren and loving family. She was preceded in death by her father, William Williams and sister, Sandra Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in her name to the American Cancer Society.
Details for the celebration of life are forthcoming.
