Kristine Marie (Kling) Weyant

Kristine M. Weyant, age 53, of Kent, formerly of Streetsboro, passed away suddenly on September 12, 2016. Kristine was born on August 21, 1963 in Gary, Indiana to Kenneth and Twila Kling. Kristine was a librarian at the Portage County Library; she retired due to health constraints, and became a full time Nana. Kristine was a member of Liberty Valley Church, and was a volunteer in their nursery. She was a Nana to everyone; she adored taking care of the babies, and loved her own grandchildren with all her heart. Many friends have been blessed by her hands; she made beautiful quilts, as well as many other crafts. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed Christian music. Kristine was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Noel Weyant, and their daughter Amanda (James) Karpinecz. Her memory is cherished by her by her mother, Twila Benton, by her sister Marsha (Tom) Clark, and by her grandchildren; Josiah, Lillian, Elijah, and Amelia.  Calling hours will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6-8PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home’s Streetsboro Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday September 16, 2016 at 11AM at the funeral home, and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Tauring. Interment will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery.
