Kurtis E Crislip

Kurtis E. Crislip, 63, of Ravenna, passed away Sunday January 21, 2024 at his home.  On July 3, 1960, he was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late K. Gene and Helen (Roach) Crislip.  Kurt has lived in Portage County, mostly between Ravenna and Rootstown, most of his life and he retired from UH Portage Medical Center (Robinson Memorial Hospital) after 30 years of service.  He was a veteran of the US Navy.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Kim Carson.  Survivors include his children Matthew K. (Erica) Crislip, Anthony J. (Kylie  Stanley) Crislip, Rachel V. Crislip, his granddaughter Emilia and siblings Neil (Kelly) Crislip, Michael Crislip, Carrie (Keith) Fife.  Cremation has taken place and memorial calling hours will be Saturday February  3, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of the 12:30 memorial services at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home  Ravenna Chapel.  To share a memory or leave a condolence, please visit www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
