Ladonna L. (Owens) Oxley

LaDonna L. Oxley 42 of Ravenna passed away at her residence on Sunday May 9, 2010.  She was born Oct. 28, 1967 in Washington, DC to Burbege Owens and Mary (Payne) Rhodes.  She has lived in Ravenna the past 41 years and was formally employed at Independence of Ohio in Ravenna where she enjoyed being a caregiver as an S.T.N.A.  Survivors include her husband Christopher J. Oxley, children Marc (Amy) Owens of Eurichsville, Jessica Oxley and Christopher Oxley, Jr both of Ravenna,  her mother Mary (Frank Corple) Rhodes of Ravenna, her father Burbege Owens of Virginia, siblings Robert (Chris) Owens of Ravenna, Sandy Gauding of Ravenna, Melissa (Jim) Zdanczewski of Windham, Lisa (Gene) Vickery of Virginia, Brenda (Butch) Lee of Kent, Tina Corple of Columbus, Dianna Steele of Nevada, Tim (Stephanie) Rhodes of Rootstown, Mike (Cassie) Rhodes of Kent, many Step brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday May 12, 2010 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 13, 2010  with Rev. Ernie Mounts officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests  memorials to Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes 141 N.
