Larry K. Fillmore 73 of Rootstown passed away Thursday August 25, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living Ravenna, Ohio. He was born October 17, 1942 in Akron, Ohio to the late Donald and Elsie (Miller) Fillmore. Larry has lived in Rootstown most of his life and retired from Gougler in Kent where he worked as a draftsman. He was very involved with the Rootstown United Methodist Church and was a volunteer for hospice. Survivors include his brother James (Pat) Fillmore of Rootstown, his nephews Jeff Fillmore, Mike (Jen) Fillmore, one great niece and four great nephews. Private Graveside services have been held at Homeland Cemetery Rootstown, Ohio. The family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale , Brookdale Hospice and Dr. Lang. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rootstown United Methodist Church.
