Larry W. Harper 82 of Streetsboro died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. He was born December 9, 1933 in Ravenna to Kenneth and Mildred (Hansen) Harper. Larry lived in Ravenna most of his life, spent time in Dayton and Columbus Ohio and Denver Colorado. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Grace Episcopal Church where he served on Vestries, as Lay Leader, Lector, Chalice Bearer and Lay Eucharistic Visitor. Larry worked as a salesman for National Cash Register and as an accountant for Portage County Water Resources. Survivors include his daughters Linda Sue (Major US Army Retired Burton) Stover of Streetsboro, Cheryl Anne Harper of Dayton and Sandra Kay (Tod) Ebetino of Columbus, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and half brothers Gary (Linda) Huber and William (Sandra) Huber both of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Harper and son David Alan Harper. Calling hours wil be from 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend Carol Evans will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
