Larry E. Hearrell

Larry E. Hearrell, 52 of Alliance, formerly of Ravenna, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born January 5, 1969 in Ravenna, Ohio to Raphael A. and Wilma W. (Wymer) Hearrell. Larry attended the Shepherd's Hill Nazarene Church. He held various jobs throughout his life, but his most important jobs were caring for his parents and working with children at local church camps. He had two passions in life: helping others and caring for animals. He dreamed of a simple life living on the beach but sacrificed that dream for his family. He put so much time and effort into being an amazing son, brother, and loving uncle. Survivors include his parents Raphael and Wilma Hearrell, brothers Jeff (Paula) Hearrell and Tim (Robin) Hearrell and nieces and nephews Jason (Misty) Young, Amy (Jerry) Gulu, Kalie (Robert) Johnson, Tony (Kelsey) Hearrell, Casey (Chris) Dial and Korie Beth Hearrell. Calling hours will be from 4 PM to 6 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Monday, April 12, 2021 at the funeral home with Reverend John Stallings officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to the ASPCA website under memorial gifts.
