Laura L. Kelley, 72, of Ravenna, passed away Thursday October 24, 2024 in Brimfield, Ohio. On November 26, 1951, Laura was born in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Chester and Mary (Ullom) Collins. Living in Ravenna most of her life, she retired from Berry Plastics in Streetsboro and had attended Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. Laura enjoyed planting spring flowers and spending time with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and she loved cheering them on at activities and sporting events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years. Joseph T. Kelley Sr on June 7, 2018, her siblings Lola "Midge" Hughes, Winona Wilson, Leona Ann (Sonny)Williams, Darrel Franklin Collins, James "Buck" ( Shirley) Collins and Chester "Butch" ( Kathy) Collins. Survivors include her children Andrea (Paul) Savage, JT (Michelle) Kelley, her stepdaughter Stacey (Mike) Henderson, her grandchildren Ashly (Ryan) Nall, Taylor Butler, Lyla Kelley, Aubree Kelley, her great grandchildren Jackson Nall, Jade Nall and siblings Ardis ( Dave) Mortimer, Irene ( Richard) Shaffer, Anita( ( Kenny) Jenkins, Mary ( Frank) Pritchard, Pam ( Tom) Oostdyk, Mark Wilson, Mary Adams, sister- in- Law MaryKaye ( Ron) Ehler, and many nieces and nephews as well as extended family. Memorial calling hours will be 3-5 pm Friday November 1, 2024 with memorial services to follow at 5;00 pm at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. The family has invited everyone to join them for a dinner of fellowship and memories at Rootstown Church of Hope directly following services.
