Laura M. (Williams) Moats

Laura M. Moats 87 of Ravenna died Monday, August 8, 2011 . She was born October 28, 1923 in High Knob, WV to the late Everet and Freeda (Chapman) Williams. Mrs. Moats has lived in Ravenna since 1968, worked at Oak Rubber as a glove stripper and was a member of the Ravenna VFW #1055 Auxiliary. Survivors include her daughters Karen Svoboda of Ravenna and Frances Holcomb of Ravenna, son Dr. Aaron (Shelly) Moats of Ravenna, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, son in law Tom Bostwick of Ravenna and sister in law Josephine Williams of Ravenna. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Regenia Bostwick, sisters Lillian Hamilton, Lenora Williams and Lucille Williams and brothers Arnett Williams and Warren Williams. Calling hours will be from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel, where services will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 12, 2011 with Don Kainrad officiating. Entombment will be at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna.
