Lawrence H. Fear 76 of Ravenna passed away Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls. He was born July 19, 1938 in Shalersville, Ohio to the late Ralph and Linnie (Chalker) Fear. Living in Ravenna and Shalersville most of his life , he was a truck driver for over 60 years recently working for the Kent Produce. Mr. Fear was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the Ravenna American Legion Post 331 and as his family says was just an old fashion American farmer. Survivors include his children Judy Jennings, Mary Heeter, Elizabeth Fear, Kristopher Fear, his stepp children Mark Navarra, Wade Navarra, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren. and siblings Hilda Lough, Grace Arman, Raymond Fear and Martin Fear. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Shawna Lee Fear, sister Vera Clark and brother Paul Fear. Calling hours will be from Sunday January 18, 2015 from 12 Noon until time of Memorial Services at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
