Lena Mae (Scott) Douthitt

Lena Mae Scott-Douthitt 83, of Atwater, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.  She was born July 3, 1928 in   Kent,  Ohio to the late Aldine and Elsie (McConaha) Scott.  She has lived in Atwater for the past 57 years and had worked for the Norton Company and was very proud of holding a commercial cosmetology license.  Survivors include her sons Bill Rosenberger and his wife Barb of Barberton, Bob Rosenberger and his wife Beth of Atwater, Rick Douthitt and his wife Chris of Atwater,  her grandchildren Kelly Slattery, Quentin Rosenberger, Melissa Rosenberger, Joe Sniderhan, Tammy Alderman, four great grandchildren and sister Edna Fulper of Kent.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thorton "Tony" "Moose" Douthitt and three brothers.  Calling hours will be from 12 noon until time of services at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Atwater United Methodist Church with Pastor William Nicewarner officiating.  Burial will follow the services in Atwater Cemetery Atwater, Ohio.
