Leona Ann (Collins) Williams

Leona "Ann" Williams 77, of Rootstown passed away Saturday April 7, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born August 26, 1934 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Chester B. and Mary R. (Ullom) Collins. Mrs. Williams has lived in Rootstown most of her life and her passion was spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Louis "Sonny" Williams, her children Louie (Peggy) Williams, John Williams, Jimmy (Sandy) Williams, Gina Williams, her grandchildren Steven (Beth) Williams, Kimberly (Eddie) Ellsworth, Amy (Eric) Olsen, Jill (Tony) Dozanti, Stacie (Keith) Reedy, Melissa Huth, Amber Williams, Corey Williams, Cody Williams and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers James "Buck" Collins, Sr., Ardis Mortimer, Chester "Butch" Collins, Jr. and sisters Anita Jenkins, Irene Shaffer, Laura Kelley, Mary Pritchard and Pamela Oostdyk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Norman Byron Williams, brother Darrell Collins and sister Winona Wilson. Calling hours will be from 12 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM on Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Buddy Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery Rootstown, Ohio.
